Título: Foi apenas um sonho, Autorretrato em três tempos

Técnica: Imagem composta por três auto-retratos gerados por IA através da aplicação Dream.ai de Wombo, utilizando como base um autorretrato pessoal retocado com adobe photoshop, o prompt "artista, mulher, educadora, impressionista, sonhadora" e a utilização de diferentes estilos artísticos.

Na sua obra Sonhos de Robot (1988), e no seu conto Rima Ligeira, Isaac Asimov conta-nos a história de Max, um robô que produz esculturas de luz que maravilham os que assistem aos seus espectáculos... mas Max, esse ser livre e criador de formas irrepetíveis, deixa de ser tão "criativo" quando um engenheiro que assiste a um dos seus espectáculos o ajusta... Sem saber que era ele o criador das esculturas de luz e sem pedir autorização à Sra. Lardner, a dona do robot, ele simplesmente ajustou-o...

E às vezes é mesmo assim... A IA é assim, é preciso "ajustá-la"... ou melhor, "desajustá-la"...

Em "Foi apenas um sonho. Autorretrao em tres tempos" a experimentação com ferramentas de IA é apenas um pretexto para descobrir diferentes facetas do meu próprio eu... um eu por vezes desalinhado, desvanecendo-se entre brumas de cores onde as formas do meu reflexo ainda são evidentes, um eu transformado num futuro longínquo numa colmeia de espaços habitados por ideias, como se fosse uma cidade feita de centenas de seres minúsculos, centenas das suas possibilidades, e finalmente um eu ligado à terra, ao ser infinito que é a Pacha Mama... De todas as possibilidades que a IA me ofereceu, estas três imagens são as que representam aquilo que sou: passado, presente e futuro de um ser que se questiona e que questiona constantemente a sua natureza de mulher, de artista, de pessoa, de ser...

Title: It was just a dream, Self-portrait in three musical movements

Technique: This image comprises three self-portraits generated by AI using Wombo's Dream.ai application. It is based on a personal self-portrait retouched with Adobe Photoshop, the prompt "artist, woman, educator, impressionist, dreamer," and the use of different artistic styles.

In his work Robot Dreams (1988) and his short story Light Rhyme, Isaac Asimov tells us the story of Max, a robot who produces light sculptures that amaze those who attend his shows... Max, this free being and creator of unrepeatable forms, stops being so "creative" when an engineer who attends one of his shows adjusts him... Without knowing that he was the creator of the light sculptures and without asking Mrs Lardner, the owner of the robot, he simply adjusted it...

And that's just the way it is sometimes. AI is like that; you have to "adjust" it—or rather, "unadjust it".

In "It was just a dream; self-portrait in tree musical movements" the experimentation with AI tools is just an excuse to discover different facets of my own self... a self sometimes misaligned, fading between mists of colours where the shapes of my reflection are still evident, a self transformed in a distant future into a hive of spaces inhabited by ideas, as if it were a city made up of hundreds of tiny beings, hundreds of their possibilities and finally a self linked to nature, to the infinite being that is the Pacha mama... Of all the possibilities that the AI offered me, these three images are those that represent what I am: the past, present and future of a being who questions herself and who constantly questions her nature as a woman, an artist, a person, a being..
